Barrymore Medical Centre is a mixed billing clinic.
Face to face consultations are either Bulk Billed (paid on behalf of Medicare) or incur an $30 GAP fee. Appointments area able to be booked online or over the phone or by walk-in.
Appointments are always treated as priority, please be aware there may be a long wait time if you walk in.
If you do not have a valid Medicare card a fee of $40.00 for a standard consultation is payable on the day.
Longer consultations and procedures attract a higher fee.
Private consultations fees are also applicable for Employment Medicals, License Assessments and University Reports and these services are non-rebatable from Medicare.
Appointments with Dr Ati Hanafiah or Dr Erika Mustika incur a $30 GAP fee on weekdays for all patients over the age of 15 years old who do not hold a current concession card. All appointments with Dr Ati Hanafiah and Dr Erika Mustika incur a $30 GAP fee on weekends.
All other appointments during the week between the hours of 9.00am-6.00pm are bulk billed. Any appointments after 6.00pm on a week day incur a $30 GAP fee. Any appointments after 4.00pm on a Saturday also incur a $30 GAP fee.
Telehealth consultations are available at the clinic.
Bulk billed Telehealth Consultations are available to patients who meet the current Medicare criteria, please contact the clinic to find out if you are eligible.
Non eligible patients will be required to pay for the consultation which will be a $40.00 fee. This fee is non-rebatable by Medicare.
Please be advised these eligibility requirements are a Medicare legislation.
Appointment cancellation/no show policy
If you can no longer attend the appointment, please contact the clinic on 9333 5943 to cancel.
Please note a fee of $20 may apply if you cancel less than 2 hours prior to your appointment or fail to attend your appointment.

Zero Tolerance Policy
Barrymore Medical Centre has a zero tolerance policy towards aggressive and abusive behavior directed to the staff and practitioners of the centre,
Our staff come to work to care for other and are not to become victims of violence, threatening behavior, physical, verbal, racial abuse or discrimination.
If you are violent or abusive in anyway towards our staff, we have the right to refuse to treat you.
Any patient or visitor who treats any member of staff in this way will be removed from the premises and will be reported to the Police and may face prosecution.
